Burd Street Auctions was established by Pennsylvania licensed auctioneer Grace Silla together with her husband Andrew Silla after fifteen years in the trade as specialist dealers of antiques and fine art through our sister company, SILLA, ltd.

Over the years, Grace and the team at SILLA encountered countless collections that were thoughtfully assembled, well-preserved, and full of interest—but simply not the right aesthetic or price point for the gallery. Rather than continue turning away these clients, she recognized a need in the market: a more approachable, service-oriented auction platform tailored to the middle market of fine art and antiques.

Burd Street Auctions was created to meet that need—a place where new collectors can confidently begin their journey, and where seasoned collectors can refine their holdings, rehome select pieces, or manage the sale of entire estates or corporate collections with care and discretion. Whether selling a single object or managing a transition, the auction gallery offers an efficient and low-stress method for clients to convert complex property into cash quickly.
